A Toledo family is pleading for answers after a walk home for their loved one turned deadly.
The mother of Isaac Goff desperately wants answers to who hit and killed her son. Goff was hearing impaired. He was walking home last week when he was hit by a car.
"I would just like them to come forward and admit it was an accident or whatever they didn't realize they hit him or something anything just to come forward," said the victim's mother Diane Goff.
The victim's mother says her son just got finished playing a game he loves and was headed home.
"He was on his way home he had gone to play pool," said Diane Goff.
Toledo police have no current leads. Investigators have checked cameras in the area of the accident to see if they could find the driver.
Goff's mother is holding on to memories. The Toledo man loved to go camping and fishing. His mother says Isaac was a loving person.
"I'd be sitting here reading or something with my feet up in my chair and he'd grab hold of my toes as he walked past and he always had a sense of humor," said Ms. Goff.
The victim's mother talked with 13abc in hopes of stirring up some leads.
"Eventually I imagine I would get over it, but its even harder know that the person didn't stop. Anybody that seen anything that knows anything that happened to contact the police department," said Diane Goff.
She says no matter how small the tip is --it could be helpful. Goff's family also wants to thank the couple who found Isaac stayed with him and called 911.
