The race was on for Our Lady of Peace cub scouts.
It was the highly anticipated Pinewood Derby, a boy scout tradition more than 15 years strong for the OLP troop.
The boys and their parents work together to design and build a wooden car, and then they're put to the test on a four lane track. The scouts designed their cars for both style and speed.
Cub scouts ages five to 12 competed on Saturday, in a series of about 30 races.
Winners got a trophy and, of course, bragging rights.
