The coroner's office has identified the body found on the city's west side.
The deceased, is identified as 39-year-old Jeremy Wattle of Erie.
Police were called to an alleyway, off West 5th and Cherry Street around 3:30 p.m. Friday. They found Wattle in the back seat of a parked car. According to police, a neighbor called them after they noticed that the car had been sitting there most of the day.
According to Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook, there are no signs of foul play. Cook isn't releasing a cause of death, until toxicology results are in.
