Members of the Erie community came out Wednesday night, for a town hall meeting against violence.
Sonya Arrington organized it, founder of Mothers Against Teen Violence.
Residents and elected officials spoke out about ways to eliminate the violence. Arrington said she called this meeting tonight in response to the shooting that stemmed from a fight involving two teenagers last week.
"Every time I see more and more people come in, that let's me know that people are finally getting the message," said Arrington. "It takes you back to what happened in Connecticut. That could have been here that day."
Arrington says she'll host town hall meetings like this one until the violence ends.
