The Community Blood Bank Thursday night, celebrated their donors over the past year at the 46th Annual Donor Dinner.
The dinner is a way to recognize and thank those who donate all throughout the year.
About 300 people were at this year's dinner, and those with the Community Blood Bank say they're thankful for all of these dedicated donors.
"It's really touching to see the people who come up and say thank you for what you do," said Dan Desrochers, Director of Marketing and Community Relations at the Community Blood Bank. "We're just the go between. The people donate blood to us, they're the ones making that gift to the patient."
The Community Blood Bank was also celebrating the fact that 2012 was the first year they went without a blood shortage.
