Spare, strike or gutter ball, bowlers were out to support a good cause.
The fourth annual "Roll with Diversity" bowling tournament raised money for the Multicultural Resource Center.
44 teams signed up to bowl for MCRC, made up of both businesses and refugee families.
Funds this year go to a special effort to fight bullying, which international students in our area often encounter.
"It's very different these days because a lot of it is social networking and it's easier to hide behind a computer instead of face to face," said tournament chairman Eddie Ocasio, who works at MCRC. "We see a lot of that but there's also the old school face to face bullying, and if you look different they treat you different, and that's what we wanna target."
Aside from money, the tournament also promotes education and awareness of our refugee community.
