On Wednesday, the American Red Cross Greater Erie County Chapter celebrated the work of it's volunteers at the annual Volunteers' Dinner.
The dinner is a chance for the American Red Cross to say thank you and recognize all the work the volunteers do throughout the year.
On Wednesday, volunteers were honored for their years of services, and for their help in New York after Super Storm Sandy.
"We could never, as a staff, do all the things they do and help us accomplish," said Pam Masi, CEO of the American Red Cross Great Erie County Chapter. "They make sure that the Red Cross mission is delivered at the time of need, whether it's a holiday or a week night or we're doing other work at the time in the office, we could not deliver the Red Cross mission without all these volunteers."
The Great Erie County Chapter has nearly 100 volunteers that respond in times of need.
