An art show on Thursday night helped raise money for Erie Dawn. The show was called Come Fly With Me. It's the 5th annual art auction for the organization.
Over forty local artists were featured. They turned bird houses into artwork.
The bird houses represent Erie Dawn's mission, to create safe and nurturing environments where families can thrive, and women can build safe environments for their kids.
All the money raised, will go directly to helping women and families served by Erie Dawn.
"It just makes all the difference in the world," said Maureen Dunn, Executive Director of Erie Dawn. "We talk about addressing homelessness and literally giving them an address, and that's what we do. The first step is to give them a house and help with rent."
