Saturday was "Armed Forces Day", and people and cars came out in support of our veterans.
Sons of the American Legion Post 571 hosted a car show at the VA Medical Center.
It was open to all models this year, and classics pulled up next to more modern sets of wheels.
The entrance fee got you an up-close look at some sleek rides, and a ticket to lunch, but the main reason was, of course to say "thank you" to our service members.
"I had a lot of relatives that were in the service and I have a lot of friends who were in the service," said organizer Bruce Burt. "Its very important that we help them out. They're fighting for us, we gotta fight for them."
The show raised money for the medical center's recreation department.
