A former teacher charged with molesting a child in 2011 has been found not guilty.
Former Collegiate Academy science teacher David Montgomery found not guilty of assault, corruption of a minor and endangering the welfare of a child.
Onlookers say that with a lack of physical evidence it came down to the word of the now 15-year old victim.
There is another charge brought against Montgomery in April. His attorney petitioned the court saying the new charge would make it impossible to find a fair jury in Erie. But the initial case proceeded here anyway.
