The investigation into a double homicide in Carrol, New York continues, as the DA's office prepares for trial.
A pre-trial conference is scheduled for August 5th, at which time a trial date could be scheduled in Chautauqua county court.
Back in April, sixty-six year old Gordon Skinner and his fifty-nine year old wife, Joyce, were found dead in their Carrol, New York home.
Frewsburg firefighters were called to that home to fight a structure fire, and found the bodies.
Four Elmira men have been charged in the murder.
Thirty-four year old David Coggins and twenty-one year old Joshua McCormick are charged with 1st degree murder.
They could be looking at a mandatory life sentence if convicted.
Because of their age, eighteen year olds Ricky Knickerbocker and Steven Todd are charged with 2nd degree murder.
