Take a lesson from the Miami Heat fans. Stay until the end of the game. Many left the arena with less than a minute left and the Heat down by 5 thinking the game was over and not wanting to see the Spurs celebrate an NBA title. The Heat came back, won in overtime but the fans were not allowed back in the arena. It's tough being a sports fan, a diehard, when your team is on the verge of losing. I remember that great comeback by the Buffalo Bills in the early '90's against the Houston Oilers hearing countless stories of fans driving home after leaving at halftime and not knowing the team had even won until much later, or pulling over on the side of the road to listen to end of the game when they were halfway home. It doesn't happen that often and that is what makes it so special. The fact that it could happen should keep you in your seat until the bitter or miraculous end of the game. It may not happen often, but if it does, you want to make sure you are there to see it !!! A few hundred Heat fans missed it last night and will regret it for the rest of their lives.
