The Bowling Green State University Department of Athletics has released complete season ticket pricing information for the upcoming 2013-14 Falcon ice hockey season. This season marks Bowling Green's first in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA). Along with the team's conference schedule, the Falcons will host Ohio State and Colgate in non-conference action, as well as home exhibition contests against Wilfred Laurier and the US National Development Team.
With the program's first season in the WCHA, BGSU fans will get the opportunity to see numerous teams in the BG Ice Arena for the first time in recent history. Conference opponents that will visit Bowling Green include Alaska Anchorage, Minnesota State, Alabama Huntsville, Alaska Fairbanks, Lake Superior State, Michigan Tech and Bemidji State.
"Once again, we have a very competitive schedule in 2013-14," BGSU hockey coach Chris Bergeron said. "Our fans will have a chance to see some familiar opponents and our new WCHA rivals. We are looking forward to another year of exciting BG hockey. A packed house creates a great home-ice advantage and when Falcon fans are loud the BGSU Ice Arena is one of the hardest places to play as a visiting team. We can't wait to see fans in the seats."
In all, BGSU hosts two exhibition games and 17 regular season games in 2013-14. The season ticket package will also include tickets to a potential WCHA home playoff series in March. Season tickets are on sale now and prices remain the same as last year.
