It was a celebration for Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania Wednesday night, for the 8th annual Celebration of Success.
It's all about recognizing the volunteers throughout the year for their time and work. Students and volunteers talked about their experiences with the program.
This year, LORD Corporation was given special thanks from Junior Achievement. Each year, LORD has gotten more involved and raised more money for the kids.
"Junior Achievement to me and to our volunteers means a lot because it's about helping the kids, helping the community, and ensuring the success and future success of these kids in Erie," said Scott Redinger, Director of Mechanical Technology at LORD Corporation. "It's something that's very valuable to them and the us as a whole."
Junior Achievement helps students K through 12 prepare for the work force.
