We all know it can be hard to shop with kids, but a new attraction at the Millcreek Mall is making it easier for parents.
The widget kids zone opened on Saturday, sponsored by Widget Financial, formerly the GE Credit Union.
The play area is designed with small children in mind, giving them a safe play space to let loose while Mom and Dad relax on the comfortable seating nearby.
Another special treat for the kids today was actor Nathan Kress from the hit Nickelodeon show "i-Carly". He cut the ribbon, and stayed on to sign autographs for fans.
This is a way for Widget Financial to get their new name out in the community, and help parents get their errands done in peace.
"It's a tremendous benefit to parents of young children because it allows them to get their shopping done it allows them to stay longer and do what they need to do without having to worry about temper tantrums," said mall spokesperson Joe Bell.
