Come out for our 4th of July Celebration in Lawrence Park. Bike Parade starting at 10:00 a.m. Main Parade at 2:00 p.m. and Fireworks at dusk.  Musical guest Natural High playing at the Iroquois High School Football field starting at 8:00 p.m.


July 04, 2013 5:00 PM - DUSK - Liberty Park, Waterford Fairgrounds, Mercyhurst University North East, Girard High School Stadium

LIBERTY PARK AND THE BURGER KING AMPHITHEATER

5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Picnic in the Park and Bayfront Fireworks
Picnic Time/Vendors

5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Children Activities – includes caricature artists, a balloon sculptor, and an activities tent provided by the Erie County Historical Society (including 2012 4th of July Fireworks re-enactment, interactive experiences for children, historically correct tools and artifacts, blacksmithing, face painting, coloring pages, and 19th Century toys).

6:00 PM
The Dixie Doodlers take the Burger King Amphitheater Stage

7:15 PM
The Young People's Chorus of Erie take the Burger King Amphitheater Stage

8:30 PM
The Gem City Concert Band takes the Burger King Amphitheater Stage

9:45 PM – 10:00 PM
Bayfront Fireworks, provided by Zambelli Fireworks

*Rain date for the fireworks is Sunday, July 7th.


GIRARD

1:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Swimming at the Girard Community Pool, sponsored by the Elk Creek Recreation and Leisure Board

7:30 PM
History Walk, conducted by Stephanie Wincik. Meet at "Old Fire Hall" social room. There will be free coffee and donuts following the walk, which is about one mile long. Sponsored by the Hazel Kibler Museum.

8:00 PM
Concessions will be available, and musical performances by Loose Change and Ischabha at the Girard High School Stadium – sponsored by Girard Township.

9:45 PM
Fireworks display, provided by Zambelli Fireworks. Seating is available at the Girard High School Stadium. The football stadium and grounds will be available for parking or shuttle service may be provided from local community event locations.

*Rain date for the fireworks is Sunday, July 7th.


WATERFORD

7:00 PM
Children activities at Gazebo Park in Waterford

7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Musical performance by Retroactive in Gazebo Park in Waterford

9:45 PM
Fireworks display, provided by Gibson Fireworks, at the Waterford Fairgrounds

MERCYHURST NORTH EAST CAMPUS
