A little bit of Key West was at the Bayfront Convention Center Wednesday night for the Presque Isle Parrothead's fundraiser for Relay for Life.
Local band Key West Express, was on hand for the event, singing the best Jimmy Buffett songs, setting the tone for the night.
This was the second year the group's done this. Last year they raised $2,000 for Relay for Life, and this year, they're hoping to double that.
"Our motto is to party with a purpose," said Heidi Belczyk, President of Presque Isle Parrotheads. "We like to do important things, but we want to have fun while we do it. And cancers touches all of us, so it's important."
The Presque Isle Parrotheads are also holding a golf outing next week. There are still foursomes available. For more information on the outing, or how you can donate, you can head to the Presque Isle Parrothead's Facebook page
