Three of Lourdes University's seven National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) programs have been named 2012-2013 Scholar Teams.
Earning the honor at Lourdes were the Gray Wolves' baseball, softball, and women's golf teams. For a team to be considered for the NAIA Scholar-Team award, it must have a minimum 3.0 grade-point average (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the institution. The team grade-point average includes all eligible varsity student-athletes.
Lourdes women's golf team led the way with a 3.50 GPA for the academic year while the softball team posted a 3.42 GPA. The baseball team scored a 3.14 GPA over the two semesters.
A total of 898 NAIA programs were recipients of the honor for 2012-2013.
