Update: Funeral Plans Set for Fireman Struck By Car

Funeral arrangements are now complete for the Fuller Hose Company volunteer killed when he was hit by a car on Thursday morning as he walked along Route 8.  The victim is 44-year old Brian Trimble.

Black fabric is draped outside the fire hall, and the flag is at half staff, and now fellow firefighters plan a "Fireman's Prayer Service" during calling hours. Below is information provided to us regarding the services.

The viewing will take place at Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East. Tuesday, July 23 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.  Fuller Hose Company #1 asks that any fire departments planning on attending the showing please do so from the 7pm to 9pm showing.  Staging will be set up South of Elkin's Funeral Home at the Fuller Hose Company #1 parking lot on South Lake St.  PLEASE PARK APPARATUS IN THE RIDGE - U - RAK PARKING LOT ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE FIRE STATION PARKING LOT. 

The funeral will be held at the First Baptist Church, 43 South Lake Street, North East. Wednesday, July 24 at 11am.

North East Cemetery - Route 20 @ Cemetery Road 

**We invite departments to bring apparatus to the cemetery to help line the road to Brian's final resting place.

Any department/personnel who attend Wednesday are invited to a lunch at the American Legion Post 105 (17 South Mill St. North East, PA 16428) following the cemetery services.
