Update: Kittens Found in Trash Die

Posted: Updated:

The final two kittens found in a garbage bin in an Erie neighborhood have died.

It's a story we first told you about on Friday, Jessica Wettekin and her mom Tammy found four newborn kittens, sealed in a plastic bag, thrown in a garbage bin.

The pair took the kittens to the A.N.N.A. Shelter, but without their mother, the kitten's chances of survival were slim.

Two kittens were in a foster home being tube- fed, but they didn't make it.

The last kitten passed away around 9:30 last night.
