Graffiti mars the walls of buildings around the city, but on Saturday Logistics Plus invited graffiti artists to paint on their property.
More than 50 graffiti artists came to Erie from several states, to re-paint the wall behind Logistics Plus.
From Texas to Detroit to Ohio, people hauled their paint cans to our city to be part of the "graffiti jam".
The wall they used as a canvass runs from Peach Street to Sassafrass.
Artists spray painted new works of art over the old faded graffiti on the wall.
Graffiti artists want people to know there's a difference between vandalism and what they do.
"Property destruction is real that itself is a crime, but graffiti isn't a crime itself, its just painting," said organizer Danny Babcock. "It's just really for the love of it and for fun."
The group also painted under the bridges on Peach and Sassafrass Streets.
