The Flagship Niagara League (FNL) is proud to announce that a tenth ship has been added to the Tall Ships Erie fleet. Hindu, a 79-foot schooner, is a wooden hulled sail training vessel. She shares her home ports with Provincetown, MA, from April-October, and Key West, FL, from November-March.
Hindu will be docked at Dobbins Landing as a day-sail vessel along with Appledore IV and Friends Good Will. "The Hindu is a great addition to our festival. We've been having such great success selling other day-sails that we wanted to enhance the guest experience by offering another vessel," said Waskiewicz, Executive Director of Flagship Niagara League.
Sail-Away schedule for Hindu as follows;
Friday, September 6th
Saturday, September 7th and Sunday, September 8th
All sails have a capacity of (35) passengers so book early as space is extremely limited. There are also a limited number of sails available on Friends Good Will and Lynx. Book your sail on: http://www.flagshipreservations.com/ All guests will be required to arrive at Dobbins Landing 30 minutes prior to your day-sail.
General admission tickets are still available at the Erie Maritime Museum Gift Shop. It is highly recommended that guests purchase their tickets in advance to avoid long lines at the festival. Individual day tickets are $14 (Sat/Sun) and $8 (Fri); weekend passes are available for $22.
