Thousands of people flocked to the bayfront to get a view of the Tall Ships coming in, but few had a closer view than those aboard the Victorian Princess.
One hundred people went on a 4-hour dinner cruise to see the Parade of Sail up close and personal.
The Victorian Princess was at the North Pier when the parade started, then followed the ships through the channel, into the bay.
The boat's owner, and those aboard the boat, said the whole day is unforgettable.
"There are thousands of people down here and it made me feel good to look at the people and as we go by everybody upstairs here waving to everybody and them waving back to us," said Dan O'Neill, owner of the Victorian Princess. "It's been a happy day for me today. A very, very happy day for me today."
"It's breathtaking," said Karen Sadler, of Erie. "You can't even describe it. I can't wait to go home and tell everybody how amazing it was."
