More on the warn notices being sent to GE employees.
As we've been reporting, over the next 60 days up to 500 employees will receive layoff notices.
It's an issue that could have an effect state-wide.
We caught up with the Governor Tom Corbett Thursday afternoon, before he boarded the Niagara.
"We're disappointed to see what's happening, disappointed that we couldn't see an agreement between the union and the company. It's unfortunate that these jobs are going to go away here in northwest Pennsylvania," Said Corbett.
The governor says the Department of Labor and Industry will come to Erie to help the displaced workers.
