A Waterford man is facing a long list of charges after allegedly hitting and killing a man with his car in July.
It happened at this intersection near Peach and Kuntz Road on July 3. That's when police say a Pontiac Transport van driven by John Peterson drifted onto the side of the road, hitting 27-year-old Bryon Long, who was walking with a shopping cart.
Long was pronounced dead at the scene.
Millcreek Police arrested Peterson at the scene for suspicion of DUI, but no charges were filed until Friday, Sept. 6.
Now, Peterson is facing charges including homicide by vehicle while DUI. He's behind bars on $25,000 cash bond.
