18-Wheeler Rolls Over on I-90 West

Posted: Updated:
An 18-wheeler rolled over on I-90 West at 5AM on Wednesday, blocking westbound traffic near Exit 27 for about three hours.

The truck was carrying liquid eggs for dog food. Eggs spilled onto the highway and into the nearby ditch.

The eggs were flushed off the highway, but the company that owns the truck is paying for a private crew to continue the cleanup.

According to State Police, the highway is reopen and divers no longer need to reroute through  Exit 32 and the Bayfront Connector as of 8:30AM.

There were no injuries, according to police.

With a high of 89 degrees, Wednesday makes for a hot day for eggs on the highway.
