The recent audit of the Millcreek Township School District is now in the hands of the Pennsylvania Attorney General.
State Auditor Eugene DePasquale did confirm to the stations of Lilly Broadcasting that his office turned over that audit to the Attorney General and the Ethics Commission to review.
That audit was released in July, and showed significant financial discrepancies within the district.
DePasquele said the red flag was really the misappropriation of tax payer dollars.
It's now up to the Attorney General to decided whether any charges should be filed.
