Michigan Man Charged In "Bath Salts" Investigation

Posted: Updated:

A Michigan man is sitting in the Erie county prison. He's charged with accepting a huge shipment of illegal synthetic drugs, known as "bath salts."

State Police say 26-year-old Randall Harries accepted a shipment from China, at an Erie address.
It allegedly contained just over 3 pounds of Bath Salts.
Law enforcement intercepted the shipment, and made the delivery.

Harries told police he was going to be paid to travel from Michigan to Erie to get the package, for someone else.

He's in jail charged with possession with intent to manufacture or deliver an illegal substance and criminal conspiracy.
His bond is set at $50,000 dollars.
