OAKLAND, Calif., Sept. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Corpus Collusion announced the availability of The Recipe Box To Go! App version 3.0, enlivening its user experience for Apple's new iOS 7 operating system. In addition, users can share recipe collections using the app's innovative Recipe Link feature with no setup using peer-to-peer Bluetooth or ad hoc WiFi network.
The Recipe Box To Go! App, available for iPhone and iPod touch, takes advantage of both the look and feel of iOS 7, with a bright, refined interface that puts focus on the content users care about, their recipes. Elegant new interface fonts fade into the background making it easier to find just the right meal. The app also includes delightful animations, aiding in navigation and adding to visual cohesion over time.
"We hope users love the richness and clarity of our new interface," said visual designer and company co-founder Vibrata Chromodoris. "We want every home cook or professional chef with an iPhone or iPod touch to take their recipe collection anywhere."
Recipe Link, a popular feature first introduced in January 2012, lets users share their whole collection, a found set, or a single recipe. Users can share with friends or keep their own devices in sync. With The Recipe Box To Go! version 3.0, users can share without setting up any networking. Sending hundreds of recipes over Bluetooth or ad hoc WiFi networking only takes a few minutes.
"iOS 7 provides more than just a new skin," said chief architect and company co-founder Kathy Tafel. "We're so happy to give our users useful features they've requested - and we've wanted since day one, too."
Spotlighted in this week's Best New Apps section of App Store Food & Drink.
