The Pittsburgh Pirates are over .500, and the Steelers, are still looking for their first win of the season.
No, you're not in the Twilight Zone. It's actually happening. The Steelers are starting the season 0-3. The last time that happened, was the year 2000.
"You can't be great all the time," said Pirates fan Mike Panighetti. "Give them a little bit of time. They're a young team, they have a very young offensive line, they've lost their #1 runner."
"We're going to come from behind and we're going to prove every doubt, every hater wrong and it's going to be good," said Steelers fan Katie Hermann. "And even if we don't, we're still Steelers Nation."
As optimistic as fans are, the reality is the Steelers are winless and at the bottom of their division. And for the first time in 22 years, it's the Pirates playing winning ball in Pittsburgh heading into October. On Monday night, they clinched the Wildcard berth.
"They had a .500 season, they've succeeded in that," said Panighetti. "They've made it and now if they make the playoffs, it's another bonus."
This is the first time in 20 seasons that the Pirates will be in the playoffs.
As hard as it may be to swallow for some of Steeler Nation that football isn't the talk of the town, they're excited that baseball has meaning this late in the season.
"Baseball's not over, so we can focus on baseball and worry about football later because there's a lot of games left in football," said Hermann.
So while it doesn't look like a it's going to be Super Bowl season for the Steelers, it's going to be a race for the pennant for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
