The man who police say hit a construction worker with his pickup truck last month is now being charged with drunk driving.
According to Erie Police, Pavel Kukharchuk, 54, blood alcohol content was .19 at the time of the accident, more than twice the legal limit on August 7.
Police say he ran into a worker on Peach Street seriously injuring him.
Charges include aggravated assault while driving under the influence and reckless endangerment.
Kukharchuk is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on October 24.
