It's been one of the top trending stories locally for a few weeks now, and this week more national attention is being given to the #AJO movement.
Earlier this week, Alyssa Josephine O'Neill's story was picked up on the Today Show's website, and now, Ellen Degeneres has picked up on the story.
Ellen took to Twitter to share the story saying, "I love when people pay it forward. I put this story on my good news blog!" She included a link
to her Yahoo News story about the #AJO movement.
Again, that movement started in Erie after Alyssa passed away from an epileptic seizure.
Her parents bought pumpkin spice lattes from Starbucks after her death as a tribute, and asked people to pay it forward, doing something nice for somebody else.
The movement has gone global ever since.
