The investigation into the shooting of an elderly woman by an Oil City Police Officer has wrapped up.
State Police in Meadville finished their two month long active investigation, and the next move will be the Venango County District Attorney's.
State Police tell us that Corporal Scott Shipton will meet with Venango DA Marie Veon within the next two weeks.
They'll review the findings, and Veon's office will decide what action to take from there.
The shooting happened July 16th, when an Oil City police officer reportedly shot and killed a 68-year- old woman who allegedly threatened him and two other officers with a knife.
The three officers remain on administrative duty pending the results of the investigation.
