There are lots of ways you can "go green", but how about with your skin care?
On Tuesday Mercyhurst University students introduced the campus to the "Fresh Face Forward" campaign.
It's raising awareness about toxic ingredients in every day skin products that are harmful to both the user and the environment.
Some of the products you could try out were a honey facial and a grape-and-sugar manicure.
"We want to educate students about how their daily beauty routines can actually be really toxic to their health," said Mercyhurst graduate student and Campaign Coordinator Elissa Reitz. "We want to inspire them to choose safer alternatives, and we provide a lot of safer alternatives here using ingredients you can find in your kitchen."
And using the food in your kitchen can save you some green, too.
