Two weeks out from the election and one of the candidates running Erie City Council is amping up support.
Monday friends and supporters of Kaz Kwitowski gathered at the Polish Falcons Club as way to get energized for the next two weeks.
Previously Kwitowski, has served as the Erie City Controller and also on the school board. He said he now wants to help with some of the issues the city is facing.
"I look at the bayfront development, which is big, but really the biggest thing is stabilizing the neighborhoods and trying to find a way to encourage businesses to set up show here and create jobs so our youth will stay here."
There are four open seats on council, and Kwitowski will be running against current members Curtis Jones, John Evans, Jim Winarski and Dave Brennan.
