Greater Toronto CivicAction Alliance named a finalist for Canada's Passion Capitalists award
TORONTO, Oct. 22, 2013 /CNW/ - The Greater Toronto CivicAction Alliance (CivicAction) has earned a spot among the 10 Ontario finalists for the Canada's Passion Capitalists awards. The awards celebrate organizations that achieve success by promoting Passion Capital - a concept developed by Paul Alofs that describes the energy, intensity and sustainability required to generate superior results.
CivicAction joins fellow Ontario finalists Canadian Tire, CIBC, Cineplex Entertainment, Communitech, MediaCom Canada, the Retail Council of Canada, Southlake Regional Health Centre, TMX Group, and Wilfred Laurier University.
A non-profit, non-partisan organization, CivicAction currently focuses on accelerating regional transportation (Your32.com), enhancing economic performance, and fostering inclusion and resilience in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.
