Circus to Visit Lincoln Elementary

Posted: Updated:

There's a lot of excitement brewing for students at Lincoln Elementary, as they get to see some of the circus at their own school on Wednesday.

The Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus is coming to Erie on November 1-3, but on Wednesday, performers get a head start into town and make a trip to Lincoln Elementary.

The students will be getting a mini performance as well as tips on Halloween safety.

The circus ringmaster will open the assembly, and students and staff will see a dance performance, circus dog tricks, as well as a juggling segment from the high-energy juggling team, the Smaha troupe.

And some of those safety tips include advice such as paying careful attention to cars while trick or treating, and staying away from lit decorations - especially those with an open flame.

You can catch the whole circus performance at the Erie Insurance Arena on Nov. 1st

The circus will feature five-ton Asian elephants, tigers, acrobats, tightrope walkers, and trapeze artists - all of that circus fun.

Tickets start at $20 and can be purchased here, or by calling the Erie Insurance Arena at (814) 453-7117.

Show times are as follows:
Nov 1st - 7pm
Nov 2nd - 11am, 3pm, 7pm
Nov 3rd - 11am, 3pm
