Students graduating from college know that they need more than just good grades to get a job.
Now Mercyhurst University is helping them fill out that resume, by incorporating "hands-on" experience.
It's something the school has been doing in some majors for many years, but now every students is guaranteed to get field experience.
"It also means you're getting more value for the money invested," said Provost Dr. James Adovasio. "It means that there'll be a practical application of everything that you learn in a way that you can add to your resume either for a job or for going to graduate school"
Much of the experience comes in the form of capstone courses and projects.
