Three Charged After Several Pounds of Marijuana Delivered

Three people are facing charges in connection to a big marijuana bust in the city of Erie.

35-year old Timothy White of Cleveland and 30-year old Alesha Crosby of Erie are facing charges that include possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, and conspiracy.
30-year old Dominique Thames, of Erie is charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Investigators arrested them after a controlled delivery of a package containing just over 23 pounds of marijuana.
That's a street value of about $10,000 dollars.

According to the criminal complaints, the package was delivered to a home along Prospect avenue near 18th street in Erie, around 1:00 Monday afternoon.
The package reportedly originated in California, and police started following it after the Pittsburgh Post Office noticed the suspicious package.
After the package was delivered to the home, the complaint says Crosby then delivered it to White.

White and Crosby are both facing felony charges, their bonds are set at $125,000 and $75,000 respectively.
Thames was jailed on $15,000 bond.

State police are continuing their investigation.
