More traffic troubles along Interstate 90 Friday afternoon, after a big accident early Friday morning involving several semis.
Crews spent the day cleaning up the mess left behind from the multi-vehicle accident in the eastbound lanes of I-90, near the Sterrettania road exit.
The Interstate closed for about 2 hours Friday afternoon, while crews got those disabled semi trucks off the side of the interstate.
Around 1:30 Friday morning, several semis and about a half dozen cars were involved in the crash, traffic was backed up for miles as crews worked to clean up the mess.
The interstate reopened around 3 Friday morning, but closed again in the afternoon, obviously causing lots of traffic headaches throughout the day.
It looks like weather may have played a role in the crash.
Fortunately nobody was hurt.
