SCHENECTADY, N.Y., Jan. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Ellen Sax has joined MVP Health Care as the new Director of Corporate Social Responsibility. Ellen will be responsible for the enhancement of MVP's existing community relationships as well as fostering new relationships with organizations that will further benefit the communities that we serve.

For more than twenty years, Ellen worked with KeyBank in Albany where she most recently held the role of Vice President of Community Relations. In her time with KeyBank, Ellen demonstrated her success by building vital relationships that furthered the organization's visibility and credibility as a responsible corporate citizen. In addition to her most recent role, Ellen also served in the capacity of Vice President of Human Resources at Key.

Sax has been and is still active with many community organizations. She currently serves as a Board Member and 1st Vice Chair for the Community Foundation of the Greater Capital Region, Trustee for the Upstate Chapter of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation Of America and member of the Chamber of Schenectady County. Ellen's community involvement has been recognized with many honors and accolades during her career.
Sax holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University, in addition to a Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation from Syracuse University where she also completed her undergraduate studies. Ellen, her husband Patrick Greene and their sons, Matt and Kyle reside in Slingerlands.
