A Corry family doctor is facing felony charges after several thousand images of child pornography were found by workers at Corry Memorial Hospital.
The suspect is identified as 46-year-old William Blazes. He's now facing 60 felony counts of possessing child pornography and one misdemeanor count of possessing an instrument of a crime.
The case against Blazes stems from a case of six flash drives that were found inside of the hospital on January 12.
According to police, once hospital employees located the flash drives, they inserted them into a computer in an attempt to find the owner. At that time, they found several items of child porn and contacted police.
Corry police and Erie County detectives obtained a search warrant for each flash drive, and discovered thousands of images and 30 movies containing child porn.
Police say that based on additional information on each drive, they determined Blazes to be the owner.
Blazes turned himself in on Friday and was arraigned.
A phone call to Corry Memorial Hospital for comment has not been returned.
