Erie Doctor Testifies Against Man Accused Of Her Assault

Posted: Updated:

The Erie doctor who was beaten up and robbed in her downtown office took the witness stand Tuesday in the trial for the man accused of attacking her

It happened in her downtown Erie office, last May.

Police charged 32-year old Eddie Johnson with attempted murder and aggravated assault in connection to last year's attack.

Prosecutors say they even have evidence that Johnson sold the doctor's stolen kindle shortly after the attack.
That doctor is Justine Schober.
Police say Johnson came into rob Schober's office last May inside the Modern Tool building along State street.
An attack left her with extensive head injuries, including a concussion.

Dr. Schober took the stand Tuesday, testifying that she didn't remember much from the attack, but was able to identify her items that were stolen during the robbery.

A woman who reportedly heard Johnson confess to the crime took the stand last week, but she said she didn't remember much about that now.
