Millcreek Police Chief Retiring After 32 Years On The Force

Posted: Updated:

After more than 3 decades on the force, Millcreek Police Chief Tom Carlotti is retiring.

Chief Tom Carlotti is just hours away from retirement.
Friday is his last day, after 32 years on the Millcreek police force.

He started as a patrol officer, and after 11 years moved to the criminal investigations division.
He's lead the 60-member police department for the past 11 years in management, serving the past 5 as chief.

He says what he'll miss most is the men and women that he's worked with over the years.
He credits most of his success as chief to their talents and dedication.
And he says he's most proud of the service he's continued to provide to the citizens of Millcreek.

For Carlotti's future plans, he'll continue teaching part time at Mercyhurst North East's Municipal Police Academy.
