Malaysian Prime Minister Says Plane "Most Likely" Crashed

Posted: Updated:

Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak told reporters in an extremely brief news conference that investigators have come to believe that Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 "most likely" crashed in the southern Indian Ocean.

The statement, which only lasted for about a minute, was not followed by questions, but another press conference has been scheduled for tomorrow.

Minister Razak said he made the announcement to help give the families some closure. No debris from the plane has yet been recovered, and investigators will now back track currents in an attempt to locate an exact crash site.

More as it becomes available here and on the stations of Lilly Broadcasting.
