The Erie man, who brutally assaulted an Erie doctor in her downtown office, will spend at least the next 30 years in jail.
Wednesday morning, a judge sentenced 32-year old Eddie Johnson to 30 to 60 years behind bars.
In January, a jury found him guilty of attempted homicide, aggravated assault, and robbery.
Johnson attacked Dr. Justine Schober on May 28th, inside her State Street office at Modern Tool Square.
Prosecutors say that robbery was the motive, but Dr. Schober didn't see her attacker.
During the trial, Johnson's attorney had tried to put suspicion on Schober's estranged husband, but the jury didn't buy it.
