The future of Erie R.I.S.E. Leadership Academy Charter School is now uncertain, after a severe report from the Auditor General's office.
We reported earlier this week that the Auditor General said the school was in "disarray" financially, and academically.
Now, the Erie School District's administration has requested that the school board not renew the school's charter.
District spokesman Matthew Cummings said several other violations by the school, in addition to this weeks report, prompted the action.
The school board is scheduled to issue a "notice of non-renewal" at their meeting on Wednesday night.
If that's approved, a hearing will be held in May.
