UNION CITY- Potholes and small craters are causing some serious problems in Union City.
The main concern is centered around Old Meadville Road in Leboeuf Township where potholes have taken over the road.
"I have aluminum wheels on my car," says Tom Wasiela of Union City. "I've had both of them crack because of the potholes and that particular wheel is like $300 to replace and that is not even with the tire."
As the weather continues to warm up, a small crater began to take form close to where Old Meadville Road and Route 6 meet.
Today, crews were able to patch it up but residents, like Wasiela, say more work needs to be done before somebody gets hurt.
"As soon as we get a rain storm, it fills in where the loose dirt is in the potholes and they get washed out again. Its a never ending process," Wasiela adds.
Road workers say they plan to work around the clock to make sure necessary repairs are made.
