On Saturday, a benefit will be held to help out a North East woman who lost everything.
Back in November, Donna Chatfield's house was destroyed by fire. Weeks later, just before Christmas, Michael Wroblewski--her partner and companion of 26 years--passed away.
Since both tragic incidents, Chatfield has found a new place to live. But since she is in a wheelchair, her new house needs some modifications so she can live a life of independence. Her family is hosting a benefit to help her out. All of the proceeds will help pay for upgrades to her home.
The benefit will take place Saturday from 1p.m. to 5 p.m. at Plummer's Tavern in Ripley, New York.
