Erie detectives say they're making "substantial progress" toward making an arrest in that a mid-day bank robbery earlier this week.
It happened Monday around 12:30 p.m. at the PNC Bank at 9th and State streets, in downtown Erie.
The suspect gave the teller a note demanding money, he indicated he had a gun, but reportedly didn't show one.
Police released surveillance photos of the suspect, shortly after the robbery.
PNC is offering a $2,000 reward for any information leading to the suspect's arrest.
Police say the investigation is progressing quickly.
